CleanGSR Posted January 20, 2006 Share Posted January 20, 2006 Well if you hold it at the limiter in 3rd, you'll stop excelerating, shifting into 4th will let you continue to accelerate, even if it's for a brief time. You might also try shifting out of second about 500rpms sooner which might put you right at the end of third when you cross the line. Of course, I don't know if the loss in time from short shifting second or the loss in time from shifting into 4th will be greater. Try it both ways and see which one gets you faster times.
