Trepid
I am interested in doing an engine swap in my 98 civic LX and I was looking into putting in a B18c5 or maybe a H22 if the price is right... now if I do this how do I make my car emissions legal with a JDM engine in it? Also, anyone have a good idea on what a H22 swap would cost, I have a pretty good idea of what the B18c5 swap would cost but no clue about the H22... basically I want to know what kind of stress I have to go through to get my engine swapped. 0verb00st
Calfornia sucks not really, but i dont know how you're going to pass emissions. the JDM engine for my mazda (KLZE), doesnt have a anywhere for the hoses to go. i dont see any emissions controls on it at all. maybe the hondas are different, but i dont think japan's rules are as strict as CA. we dont have testing here in PA.
