Thirdgentastic
alright, heres the deal...my friend has a 97 civic EX and we got some sidemarkers installed on is this past weekend...... well, we wanted to run the sidemarkers to both the 'running lights' and the 'turn signals'........the thing we came to find out is that the running lights in the front and the turn signals each have a separate wire for each function (running and turn signals)....so we tried splicing the positive wire from the sidemarkers to both the running light wire and the turn signal wire and it blew a fuse!!! I KNOW there are alot of you out there that have ran their sidemarkers on their 6th gen civic (96-00) like this!!! can you please help me out and tell me what to do to have the sidemarkers on with the running lights while they also blink with the turn signals?????? boosted
Use a fuse with less resistance/higer amperage. You're runing more current through the circuit.
