packman41 Posted March 30, 2005 Share Posted March 30, 2005 this morning while driving to work i noticed my car didnt sound right. it has almost like a little grinding sound when i was in gear. about 10 miles down the road my car just died while driving. i tried to start it and it sounds like it wants to tun over.all the dash lights work fine and the battery is only 6 months old. has any1 ran into a simular problem?thanks for any inputs. I FOUND OUT IT WAS THE TIMING BELT THAT SNAPPED. MY CAR WAS AT 89,000. SO IT NEEDED TO BE CHANGED ANYWAY. JUST THOUGHT I WOULD PUT THAT OUT THERE INCASE ANY1 HAD A SIMULAR PROBLEM. 91H22Accord Posted April 5, 2005 Share Posted April 5, 2005 LOL it seems like dat same thing happend to me on my way to school this morning it was making the ticking noise and then i put the car on neutral and the whole thing shut off my oil light came on but my oil was fine i tried to start it up again and that noise was even louder i havent gone to the mechanic yet but let me know if it had the same symptons and how much it cost you my car is a 92 ls wit 132k but i rebuilt the engine already Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
