Toda Party Posted September 22, 2002 Share Posted September 22, 2002 I have two questions the first is are the b18a and the b18c blocks the same and the second is what parts in the bottom end or block are different in a b18a then in the b18c? matt 1 - no 2 - b18a is the same as the b18b...non vtec, 9.2:1 compression ratio, 81.0mm bore (same in all b-series motors except the b20 which has an 84.0mm bore), 89.0mm stroke, no oil squirters... b18c - 87.2mm stroke, oil squirters, 10:1 cr for gsr, 10.6:1 for US and Canadian ITR, 11:1 for JDM ITR, block girdle, different oil and water pumps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
