the_chad03 Posted December 18, 2004 Share Posted December 18, 2004 i just picked up a 88 integra pretty cheap, everything on its pretty good, but the alternator doesnt seem to be working, only thing is i got a yellow and a green wire that i found the other day going no where and when i connect it to power and earth the battery light comes on in the car..... so either im thinking the alternator is stuffed and the wires have nothing to do with it, or the wires are something to do with the circuit. if anyone could help that would be great since im not really familiar with these engines. heres a pic which might help what im talking about, d16a3.jpg Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BigBirdSucks Posted December 29, 2004 Share Posted December 29, 2004 hook them up(not really sure where they go exactly), start the car, then remove the power wire from the battery. if the car dies after a bit of time, you need a new alternator.
