dougyfresh18
I need help. Im trying to find some good prices on a cv axel for the front driver side of my car (99 honda accord 4-door, 4cly 2.3 v-tech). What happened was I changed my oil and I looked at my rotors and saw some oil build up on it. I looked at my line and it was ok, then I looked at the boot and it was split. So if you have a good Idea on how I can fix that without replace the cv axel then let me know. Also the reason Im not just gonna replace the boot is because I heard that it is way more difficult then the actual changing of the axel. SonicAftermath
go to your local auto shop and tell em to fix it... usually runs about $175 for the whole thing to be replaced...
honaccord
I replaced both cv axels on my 93 accord Ex and paid 150 for each. However 80 dollars of that was a deposit and was refunded when i brought the axel with the brocken boot in. The replacement is very easy it took only 30 minutes on each side.
