<H22A1>

<H22A4> < > were all USDM motors

< H23A1> <------93 Prelude SI motor

The H22A is a JDM motor out of the Prelude Type-S, SIR S Spec. So my theory is there was a swap involved.

Edit: Also, the p13 is the OEM Prelude ecu for the VTEC from 92-96

your wrong on that one....

92-96 Prelude Si motors are marked "H23A1"...

the way you can tell if its a honda JDM motor is by looking at the block type...

if it has 4 characters....

ex: "H22A"

then you have a JDM motor inside...

if it has 5 characters....

ex: "H22A1"

then you have a USDM motor inside....

its kinda ironic to who actually taught me this.....

it was our assigned police officer doing a lecture on speeding, DUI, street racing, etc. in mah auto class...
