mycoid Posted December 3, 2016 Share Posted December 3, 2016 i have a 94 accord ex manual trans that will start if i jump the starter wire but will not start if i turn the key. what could be the problem? i have replaced the ignition switch and 2 relays. could the problem be my electronic control module? everything under the hood works fire car will idle forever if jumped from the starter wire. Is there an aftermarket alarm installed? no aftermarket alarm has been installed only thing not stock on the car is the stereo. & how would i go about testing my solenoid? New starter maybe starter works fine the car will start if i connect a wire from battery to starter car will fire and run. but will not crank if i turn the key.
