Honda customers service policy

I called today and spoke with one of Honda representatives, her name is Korena, before giving any answer she announced that the conversation must be recorded, I agreed and asked her can I also record this conversation at my end! She was very rude replied that she will hang up on me for recoding this conversation due to the Honda policy to prohibit customers recoding such a conversation. Korena then hung up the phone. I do not understand the service that Honda giving to their customers and do not agree with Honda's policy.
