McGriddles1991 Posted May 9, 2015 Share Posted May 9, 2015 Hello fellow Honda enthusiasts, I am wanting to know something. I have a 1991 Honda Accord lx and I want to do a motor swap and swap the original motor with a vtec from a 2004 Honda Civic ex. Is this in any way, shape, or form possible? If so, then do I need to make any modifications before I can successfully put the civic vtec in the accord? And also, if the swap can be done with minimum mods to the engine bay compartment, what needs to be done for the civic motor to be turned into a racing engine?
