billmcse Posted July 8, 2014 Share Posted July 8, 2014 My son purchase a 2001 Civic LX and after looking at the engine and noticed something missing....the catalytic converter. Right in the front of the engine, it's just gone. What are the negative ramifications of doing this? Is it worth having a mechanic putting in a new one?
