motor swap from accord to civic. need help lol

Okay so I have a 99 Honda Accord lx with the 2.3 vtec motor and I wanna put that into a 92 Honda civic ex. I believe the civic has a 1.8 but not sure there both stock. The accord got rear ended two nights ago and has a rebuilt tranny that was done not even 1k ago and the motor got rebuilt at about the same time. And I don't want all that to go to waste so could I put those pparts into the civic? Remember I have the parts already so I good chunk of my cost is gone. If anyone could lead me in the right direct even I'd highly appreciate it.
