harmon101
I have a 99 ex coup with the d16y8 a little while ago I heard some noise under hood an thought my valves needed adjusted so I adjusted them didn't change anything noise got worst so I stopped driving it an parked it in my garage an started taring it apart. I took the head off everything was good so I dropped the oil pan to find metal shaving every where so I started looking an seen cylinders 1,3,and 4 pushed up against my block and shaved it really bad. Idk wat caused this I changed my oil every 3k an never over heated it or let it get low on oil so I have no clew. People have told me I shaped my crank an I just won't to know if this has ever happened to anyone else or no of this problem thanks.
