charcoalburner Posted November 23, 2012 Share Posted November 23, 2012 Recently my 04 Odyssey has developed an issue with starting. The dash lights come on, the buzzers work, but when you turn the key nothing happens. I cannot hear a click or any noise indicating a poor connection or the solenoid failing to activate, just nothing. The head lights work fine and the battery and connections are tight. The wierd thing is I can turn off the ignition and then attempt to start the vehicle several times and it will eventually start just fine. I have not experienced a slow start or anything indicating battery/starter trouble. Could it be a safety switch, maybe tranny or brake? If so how do I check those?
