CoffeeCrazy
Can't afford to take it to the shop right now, even if I can't get it fixed it would be nice to know if someone has an idea. Basically, every time I apply the brake, it feels like I'm pumping it, even though I'm not. There's no audible sound of the anti-lock brakes engaging, but the feeling is somewhat similar. Even if I barely hit the brake, I can feel it subtly. If I apply the brake hard, the pumping effect is strong and it doesn't feel good. Anyone have any ideas? I'd definitely appreciate it (so would my car!)!
James Matteu
Take the ABS fuse out to see if it persists. If you store a code, disconnect the battery for a few minutes. Have your radio code ready.
CoffeeCrazy
I do have a code for the radio. Is there a way to get it before doing this? (I had to enter it a while ago after taking the car in to have the idle fixed)
James Matteu
Search online for further instructions on places to find the code. Otherwise, the radio can be removed and brought to the dealership for them to look it up in their database.
