87 prelude si

ok so my roomate has a 87 prelude that he has had for a while

but he doesnt drive it because he thinks the clutch is volted.

i personally have seen the car or any pictures of it

and when i do you will to

 

but he recently got a very decent job and has some extra money to invest in the car

 

what i need is a jump in the right direction for him

iv never worked with a prelude so im not sure what to tell him

 

any ideas, suggestions
