REDBULLx69 Posted October 12, 2009 Share Posted October 12, 2009 yea kinda dumb i know...but how in the world do i install a type r shift knob on an 05 civic? i know how to screw it on and all im not that stupid but alls it came with is the knob and a lock nut (which i have no idea what is used for) the shift boot has that little ring thing on top that cliped onto the stock knob and i cant get that off and it doesnt seem to clamp to anything and it just kinda hangs there and looks dumb. and i dont know how to get the shift boot out. idk if the thing holding it has clips and pulls out or if i would have to start tearing down the freaken interior...i didnt really try cause i dont wanna break anything. help would be very appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
