93accordwagon Posted May 30, 2009 Share Posted May 30, 2009 this is my first honda it is a 93 accord station wagon it overheats because the radiator fans dont turn on i jumped them and they do work what would keep the fans from turning on also i am a very good mechanic but know nothing about hondas , only german cars and american cars but i plan on changing that Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

rspeach Posted May 31, 2009 Share Posted May 31, 2009 Sensor or perhaps the thermostat. NOTE: Make sure you get a honda thermostat as a Stant or Robertshaw do not work properly in Honda's. 93accordwagon Posted June 1, 2009 Author Share Posted June 1, 2009 fixed ! replaced the temp sensor and switch they look alike and screw in to the block right next to each other then the fan would only come on when the car was turned off drove it around the block and it cooled down but now then therer was no a/c replaced the a/c fuse and now the fans work exactly the way they are supposed to. weird Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
