dkzayne Posted April 21, 2009 Author Share Posted April 21, 2009 well i live closer to r and r on old middle burg off normandy but what about one off an h23a1? theres a preluede that has that motor in it and besides if i swap a vtec head on it will i have to change anything else since its a vtec head?? James Matteu Posted April 22, 2009 Share Posted April 22, 2009 Yes, if you use a VTEC head you will have to make adaptations to your wiring to connect the appropriate ECU with the valve management system. I am by no means an expert, I have not done such a head swap; but I do often read of people using an F22 shortblock and H22 head to make a G22. I am not sure about the H23, but I assume by avoiding the VTEC you may have less work to do. Again, seek information from other sources as well.
