Lorcon
Hello All, I have a B20/B16 hybrid motor in my 91 integra and it has CTR 11:1 pistons, type R cams with a few bolt ons.. I got adjustable cam gears and I was wondering where I should set them at? I will be getting the car dyno'ed in about a month but I want to do as much as I can now to have it tuned properly. Your input would be much appreciated
Kastigir
Don't bother adjusting the cams until you get it on the dyno. It's the only real way to see what works.
Lorcon
Oh Ok, I didn't know if there was just a general setting for the gears with the type of motor I have. Thanks for the input Kastigir
Kastigir
Oh Ok, I didn't know if there was just a general setting for the gears with the type of motor I have. Thanks for the input Kastigir The general setting is +/-0. After you get it on the dyno, then you start advancing/retarding the gears to see what gives power and what doesn't.
