ruyd1 Posted February 12, 2009 Share Posted February 12, 2009 Hi, !st post, My son has a '01 Honda civic EX . It has a TRSA09 Sanden compressor that lost the clutch face plate and nut. I've replaced stuck expansion valve and new drier. System has been vaccumned out , oil replaced to drier & attempted to charge w/ freon. When compressor would not come on, I noticed to clutch face plate was gone! Compressor turns freely ( not locked up) & additionally, when system flushed, NO PARTICLES OF ANY KIND found. Anyone out there have an extra face plate & nut that might fit this compressor? or should I just put in an aftermarket clutch kit( if they make one). Dealer wants $150.00 for clutch kit.
