joecollins2
It is possible to use the stock lower control arms but you will have to drill them to accommodate the sway bars. The other option is to buy either Del Sol VTEC, '92-'95 Civic Sedan EX, or any Integra's rear lower control arms. Also make sure you have the necessary hardware to install the swaybar. *Note: If your civic is equipped with ABS, you will need lower control arms with ABS line holes. *Another Note: If you intend to use a Greddy Power Extreme Exhaust with the swaybar on your 5g Civic coupe, you will need to install two spacers between the A-pipe and B-pipe in order to clear the sway bar. Tools Necessary reliable socket set metric wrenches jack and jack stands Installation Raise and secure the vehicle. Remove the rear wheels. To replace the Lower control arm you will have to remove three bolts. One on the vehicles chassis, one that attaches the shock to the arm, and one more that attaches to the hub. These bolts may be difficult to remove. Soaking them in penetrating oil long before the operation should help. If there is ABS, make sure to remove the small screws that tie the line to the arm. Install the new lower control arms and replace all of the bolts. *Note: Applying a heavy grease to the bolts will help prevent the bolts from seizing making any future work much easier. If you look at the chassis between the lower control arm mounting points you will see four predrilled and tapped holes. This is where the swaybar will be attached to the chassis. After you have prepared the swaybar, mount the bar to the chassis using four bolts. Make sure the bolts are secure and move on to attaching the bar to the lower control arm. Attach the bar to the large hole in the lower control arm. Make sure all of the bolts are secure; reinstall the rear wheels, lower the vehicle and take it for a spin. If everything went well, the car should feel much more stable over bumpy turns as well as ride flatter through the turns
