FWD-RACINGCIVIC
hey everyone. one night I came home and shut off my civic in the driveway, and I rememberd something I needed to get so about ten min' later I tried to start it back up again and it wont start. The engine is turning over, all the lights are on, but it's not getting any spark. when I took the distributer apart I had burnt right threw the inside of the cap. so I've bought a new cap and rotor, and 4 new plugs but it is still not starting, just keeps turning over. I know it's not the fuel because I took the fuel line off and fuel is coming out just fine. I have some ideas but I don't want to spend anymore money before I asked you guys. please help! compuvision02
You may need a new distributor, might as well change out your plug wires as well while you are at it.
FWD-RACINGCIVIC
Thanks. I was also wondering where the Coil is located? is it in the distributor?
Kastigir
Thanks.I was also wondering where the Coil is located? is it in the distributor? Unless it's been modified for an external coil it is.
