89' honda
i have a problem with my very old, very old 89 honda accord. it has over 200 thousand miles on it due to my commuting to college. the problem started a year ago when i was driving. the car began to act as if it were out of gas or had bad gas. i knew neither of these were true. my boyfriend changed one of the fuel filters and the car ran fine for about a week. the the problem started again. eventually, the car would not even stay started. it has been sitting until reciently. we changed both fuel filters and it is recieving gas. it will only stay started if you keep your foot on the gas. if you take your foot off, the car dies. we don't believe it is the fuel pump. if anyone has any clues as to what we could try next, i would appreciate it. thanks...
