jason1781 Posted June 24, 2008 Share Posted June 24, 2008 I am trying to take my exhaust manifold off and there are 2 bolts that seem impossible to get to. They come from underneath the pipe and up into the exhaust manifold. The bolts are for a bracket that supports the manifold and connects to the engine block. The problem is that the cat is so close to it that I cant get a socket wrench in there. I can get a box wrench on one of the bolts but it isn’t flush and I might strip the bolt. I think I could get to them if I pull the radiators out, but that is a lot of work just to get to those bolts. I don’t want to do that unless it’s my only option. If anyone has taken one like this off before and ran into problems, I could use some help. Anyone have suggestions? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
