Engine swap question

first, hello all. i'm new here and only 15, so of course i'll sound like an idiot, but i hope to learn.

i have a question, i've looked around for a little while, but couldn't find anything, so i thought i'd ask you. will the nissan VG30DETT twin turbo engine fit in a 90-95 integra? i'd like to buy an integra with a shot engine or a huge amount of miles and swap the engine and tranny...any suggestions other than the nissan (because i doubt it'll fit, just thought i'd ask)

Wow dude to be only 15 you have some crazy ideas. bUt like you said it wont fit it could but youll have to pend a lot of money and it would be hard to make it street safe.

my sugestion would be to buy the integra and do a gsr or ITR swap or if money is a big issue for you you could buy an Integra LS with few miles and build it.

Any questions you have just ask hope I answer your question.

i think u should start small, get a '94+ Integra any model, and put a B18C-R ( the type-r ). i have a good feeling that the skyline engine wont fit in a the integ without having 2 alter the body. and the type-r engine is cheaper than the skyline's.

but its whatever u want 2 do

I was going through the forum looking for ideas for a buddies integra, when i came across your post. Dude, i droped a 302 in my ford escort, everyone called me crazy MutherF*#!, now i got one phat car. Putting a twin turbo 300z engine into a 90 integra was one of my ideas for my next project. I'd be costly but i dont think it would be all that hard. You'd need a 300zx donor car, cause you'll need the engine and wiring, tranny, F/R suspention, rear axle, crossmembers, motor mounts and fraimrails, and probably a whole lot more. Not to mention mad welding, and fabricating skills. If you can afford the bucks and the down time, do some research, and a whole lot of planning, before you go at it. By the way age gots nothing to with what you can build, i'm 18 and i've out done a lot of people twice my age. If you do this, send me some pics, i'd love to see it. :D

just my 2 cents

You can just about place any engine in any car - it all depends on how much you are willing to spend and also on how much of the car you want to keep looking original, aka sleeper.

You have a great idea but I feel that you may be better off going for and K20A engine swap. Much less expensive and the possibilities are unknown at this point.

Hondata just came out with a chip for this particular engine that will give it more than 20hp to the wheels. Add a turbo on it and you will be pushing over 350hp to the wheels and still maintain a daily driver.

If you happen to go forward on your idea please post the results - I'd love to hear it.
