highidle Posted June 18, 2003 Share Posted June 18, 2003 I OWN A 1992 HONDAPRELUDE SR 5SPD(223,000KM), I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY IDLE. IT WOULD BOUNCE BETWEEN 800 TO 2700 RPM RAPIDLY. TODAY I CHANGED THE THROTTLE POSITIONING SENSOR. THIS SOLVED THE PROBLEM WITH THE BOUNCING BUT NOW, IT IDLES REALLY HIGH ( ABOUT 2900 RPM) CONSTANT.
