93hatch
ok heres the deal, i got a skunk2 intake manifold. I put it on, changed the intake manifold gasket, and throttle body gasket, connected every hose just as it was on the stock manifold, and plugged the extra vacuum port on the back of the new intake. But it idles like there is a vacuum leak jumps from 1,200-1,700 at idle. Never touched the throttle position sensor or idle screw. Any ideas????? TheJGB3
The vacuum leak could be one of the gaskets (ie intake or TB) or one of your vacuum lines may have cracked when you were pulling on them
delsol209
get some carb cleaner and spray it around the hoses and wat not and you should find out if you got a vac. leak
