98_coupe_ex Posted August 31, 2007 Share Posted August 31, 2007 if my check engine light is on what are the most common reasons for it to come on.....its been on for several months and took it in a while back to get the oil changed but forgot to mention it to them and they didnt say they noticed anything else....should i try to reset the ecu?. i havent had any problems with the car just the light. cranny Posted August 31, 2007 Share Posted August 31, 2007 behind the passenger side floor kick panel , theres a blue 2 wire connector. using a piece of wire of paper clip , cross those 2 wires and than turn your key to the ON position , not start it. see what codes it flashes.
