weefrenchsailor Posted June 21, 2007 Share Posted June 21, 2007 hey guys im looking at getting either a vortech or procharger supercharger. but being new to that whole genre, i dont know what all i would need. it being more like a turbo, would you reccomend building the engine same as with a turbo meaning low comp. pistons, different cams, valve springs and valves? do i need a blow off valve or waste gate or any other turbo related equip (turbo timer)? i cant see needing a boost controller. this would be on a b16 del sol. i would be pushing about 8psi. if anybody has any advice or familiarity with this system, any help would be appreciated.
