nico91civic
So i recently got my swap running after a head gasket incident. It idled at 3K+ with out the vacuum set up and once the vacuum was on 1300. I cleaned the IAVC and the thing underneath the throttle body and it ran about the same. I read the trouble codes of the ECU and it said the map sensor and tps sensor. map sensor vacuum line came off some how, put it back on and reset the ecu and got no codes. it still idles at 1300 and its bumpy. ive checked my timing 3 or 4 times and its on adjusted disy and still no change. I need some direction on where to go next cause im lost. Also when its idleling it squels from the throttle body from the air being sucked in whats with that? cranny
sounds like a leak to me. prolly whats causing high idle as well. seal throttle body onto IM better. make sure you have no similar plugs on the wrong sensors.
