I have just bought my 1998 Acura 3.2 TL, and since the battery was changed in the car, now it requires Radio Code which I don't have, I called the dealers and they don't have the code anymore since they only keep record for 5 years, so now they told me that I need to give them serial number in order to get the code, and since I really don't want to pay somebody to take out the radio, and I saw that if I put the car on ignition and press 1 and 6 at the same time and turn on the radio, it will give me the SN, I have tried that sooo many times in different ways, but it doesn't do anything at all. And when I called the dealer and ask him, he says he has never heard of such a thing, so please if somebody can help me in retrieving the radio code. Thanks.
