civic_crazy91 Posted May 16, 2007 Share Posted May 16, 2007 well today i was driving home and my car lost a lot of power... when i got home i sat and let it run and about 1500rpm-on it is missing... i had the same problem about 6 months ago and it was the distrib. it was shot... but i bought a new one and it has maybe 3000 miles on it and a tune up (plugs and wires) which has maybe 1000 miles...it was doin fine until today.... anybody know wat is wrong? hondaswap352 Posted May 17, 2007 Share Posted May 17, 2007 plugs might also be fouled i know when my plugs get fracked up i have to clean em out i just let the car run at 3500 till it clears up and then free rev it to like 5 grand and its good or i take them out and clean or just get new ones....but i dont think it would burn up the distriubtor again that fast Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
