corn0807 Posted April 5, 2007 Share Posted April 5, 2007 I was changing the head gasket on my honda civic and I removed the timing belt. I realized that after removing the timing belt and sending the head to a machine shop that I did not put my #1 spark plug at tdc. What kind of problems will i have? cranny Posted April 6, 2007 Share Posted April 6, 2007 your fine dude , everytime the mark on either the timing belt cog , or the white mark by itself on crank pully lines up with the pointer on the timing cover or pointer period , #1 is TDC. dont panic man , piece of cake.
