Engloid Posted March 1, 2003 Share Posted March 1, 2003 I have been a certified welder for many years, and made parts for airplanes, aircraft carriers, submarines, nuclear reactors, space shuttles and more. Before you ask...yes, I made a gas sampling system that was on the Columbia, but it had nothing to do with it's operating systems...just testing things in space. I can usually do simple welding jobs pretty cheap. It avoids hassles with local shops that will often butcher your parts, making them so ugly you hate to raise your hood.
