sellsaccordsexclusivly Posted February 15, 2003 Share Posted February 15, 2003 Hi people I recently bought 2 accords I got an 89 and an 84 neither of wich will idle, they are both carburated and for sale once running. I was working on the 84 today and found that the pcv was blocked and it's possible the egr is stuck open but I don't know yet. but I got it down to a prob with the carb does anyone know where I can find a good blow up of the carb, the haynes manual doens show any good ones I can use. as for the 89 it needs a head I'm sure of but I don't see why it won't idle, it's got a new timing belt I really don't wanna put a head on it all those damn vac lines(why are hondas so complicated like that?) I'll take $300 for the 89 accord as it sit now, it'll run but it needs a head. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
