MMathis
Is there and AUX input in the back of the factory radio for the '06 Civic LX? I am planning on hooking up a PA11-HON2, but you need an Aux input to plug into. I noticed the button on the dash says "CD/AUX". Does that mean there is both available? If it comes down to it, can I unhook my indash CD player and plug in the ipod adaptor? I do not want to take apart the dash and find out I cant even plug this thing in. If figure if I have an Ipod, Im not going to use the CD player anyway.

dohc1991integra
my suggestion is since it is a stock radio i assume you have a tape player...get a cassette for a car ready cd player kit and plug your i pod into the cassette...its like 15 bucks...just dont get the fm transmitter cause it can get staticky due to loss of reception...a cassette gets you a nice clear sound and plus you dont have to take your dash apart to plug the ipod adapter into the back of the cd player. GsrCrx
My fm transmitter works awesome.. It only really gets staticky when I give it to someone in my passenger side back seat... Just dont cheap out... Mine was like 45 bucks.
dohc1991integra
maybe that was why it was so staticky...my friend has one and it gets really staticky. But maybe it was a cheapy...I would definetely keep the cd player though, im sure you will need it some time down the road
