psychocoder Posted August 24, 2006 Share Posted August 24, 2006 I have an '83 Honda Accord, just bought it from the 2nd owner, and the tach isnt working. Does anyone know where to start looking to fix this problem? This is my 1st Honda (been a loyal Toyota owner for years). I love the car, gets 33MPG, runs great, in the past 5000 miles all I have done is change the oil (hasnt use a drop of oil). I would just love to fix the tach. Not about your specific problem but about the issue in general. there's a thread about this. you'll have to get the tach cable replaced. good luck and let us know the outcome.
