Creeman
You have fuel injection which means your fuel is pressurized and when you run low on fuel turning a corner can cause you to lose pressure and the engine will die. The pickup point in the gas tank has lost fuel momentarily until the car straightens out again. I hope this helps.

Kastigir
Typically when that light comes on it stores a trouble code in the ECU. However, my 87 Rex PGM-FI light came on once, and no code stored, so who knows.
