offisa_pup
My beloved 89 accord LXi just got smashed, I don't want to spend a ton, (and don't want to make payments) but will add a little bit to the ins money. What's the best year/edition to start looking at, considering: 5 speed NO ABS not stupid high miles some whistles and bells (I LOVED the moonroof, but don't need a cd changer) 4 cyl is fine I'm in the bay area, CA. Any opinions? Thanks.

Snark
Perhaps you try a Toyota, or possibly a Lada, if you are going keep wreaking your Accords!
Benji
I would go for a wrecked car or "builder", you can save big $$ and unless you get one that was really hammered it's fine. (mine has a salvage title, was smushed in the right rear, clear to the middle of the rear wheel) check this one out http://www.autoextra.com/vehicledetail/adi...e-4495/do-basic

f22a4bandit
If you want an Accord, go for the 4th gen (90-93). Not only will you have a good running car, but you'll have some money left over to spend on mods if you want them. Later.
