CivicPhreak Posted July 22, 2005 Share Posted July 22, 2005 Ok i got a 92 civic si hb and im tryin to figure out what motor i should put in it im dont wana go all out and spend alot of money so im thinking ls b18 non-vtec just a simple swap i know that it will bolt on as far as the engine and tranny are involved but i need to know if the d16z6 ecu and wireing harness will work for the swap and if not would do i need to do and if someone out there has a guide on a swap or a list of crap i need to do te swap from a d16z6 to a ls b18 please let me know thank you.. Kastigir Posted July 23, 2005 Share Posted July 23, 2005 For a B series non VTEC swap, you can use the existing wiring harness, but you'll have to swap some of the pins around in it. There was a good writeup about a B series, non VTEC swap in either Honda Tuning, or Sport Compact Car. It's what got me thinking about a B18A/B swap.
