I purchased my 2020 honda pilot about 6 months ago and the key fob battery died on me 4 days ago. I replaced the battery, but now the key fob de-programmed and the car doesnt recognize it so i cant use any of the features. I have to manually unlock the car door and hold the fob up to the push to start to turn on. I dont want to go to the dealership to get it reprogrammed because this isnt a new key, i dont know why this happened i really hope i dont have to get my key reprogrammed every time the battery runs out. I hope this is a simple fix that i can do myself
