Foreignfreshmen
I was driving home from work and blew my timing belt, I changed it but the car wouldn't start. I rechecked the timing and everything was perfect. Did a cold compression test (car won't run) and number 1 had 95lbs and 2,3,4 had nothing. Next I did the leak down and number one rolled the motor over and again 2,3,4 did nothing. One mechanic in town told me my motor is junk and to replace it or the car completely because it might be cheaper than rebuilding the motor. Do I really need to rebuild the entire engine? Can't I just replace the broken valves?
