sprx26 Posted July 26, 2016 Share Posted July 26, 2016 Hi, I own a Honda Civic LX 2002. I purchased the car off a private seller who got it from an auction. When I got the car I noticed that the gauges only work every so often, or when it chooses to. Works continuously when the temp is hot outside (summer months) or when it is raining, things like that. Other times, I slam my hand on the dash, in the right spot and they will come on. Could it be a fuse? I have changed out pretty much all the fuses associated with the gauges, but no go. Could it be a short somewhere in the wiring? How can I fix this issue? Please, I am desperate to figure this out, so I can stop driving in fear of running out of gas (has happened once or twice) or overheating (happened once).
