Strut Help

Hi. I have a questiong regarding strut replacement. I have an 07 Accord with 83k on it. I've started to notice the ride getting a bit rough and a tiny bit of sway during turns. So I was thinking it may be time to replace the struts since most manafactures suggest 50k miles.

I called the Honda dealership to check their price, the suggested that Honda OEM struts were lifetime struts and had not heard of many people needed them replaced, especially at 83k.

Does this sound legit? What is the recomended replacement time for Honda Accord Struts?

Also, is there anything else I should look at to help the ride quality?

Thanks

The lifespan of struts depends on the driver, type of driving, road conditions etc. It's definitely not unheard of for replacing struts at 83k.

The question is, what do you want out of your car? Are you into modding at all, did you like the stock ride, do you want it lower, stiffer, softer?
