dawrenn Posted May 26, 2005 Share Posted May 26, 2005 I am planning on painting my sideskirts on my VSM 99 Civic. I was wondering what I need to do before I paint them? I am planning on getting the paint from www.paintscratch.com and I was wonderinghow many 12.5 oz cans do I need to paint both sideskirts? dfaulkner Posted June 9, 2005 Share Posted June 9, 2005 there is no telling how many little cans of paint I used when doing the skirts on my Accord. I bought every can from every Autozone in town. I would buy an adhesion promoter instead of a primer as the first application. Also, i'd clean the skirts with rubbing alcohol first, to remove and oils or protectants, then clean with soap and water. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
