Hatch92 Posted May 23, 2005 Share Posted May 23, 2005 i put a D16z6 motor into my cx hatch. there was no check engine light before the swap and now i have 1. what could it be? before the swap it was in an automatic EX would that make a difference because my CX is a 5-speed? if any1 else has so input let me know. CleanGSR Posted June 3, 2005 Share Posted June 3, 2005 I have a friend that had a 99 Civic SI with various mods including a VAFC or whatever the one for Vtec is called, and had it tuned on a dyno. The way they had it programmed it made the car run really rich over a hundred and made his check engine light come on.
