..SSR..
It is the number of runners on a header. 4-2-1 is the best to get for a street car and RR car.

CleanGSR
I have the DC Sports 4-1 on my B16a del sol. The midrange didn't really seem to gain much, but when Vtec hits it screams now. Definately a noticable difference in Vtec. I figured that when racing you are only out of VTEC until about 25 mph, so more hp was more important to me than midrange. Also, if you are on the highway, you'll be in Vtec as soon as you start running hard, so I went with 4-1 and very pleased. 4-1 is tuned for more topend hp and 4-2-1 is tuned for more midrange power. juicesintegra
really? damn that kinda sucks.....i just bought a DC sports header and its a 4-2-1. Will it still be worth paying 73 bucks? cause its for my gsr so i would rather have that vtec and header thing going on.....hmmm....damn, that sucks
CleanGSR
I wouldn't worry about it. My dad has a 2000 GSR and we put Comptech 4-2-1 headers on it. That thing scream all the way through the powerband. He has great midrange and topend. It's not that the 4-2-1 doesn't give any topend power, it just doesn't give as much as the 4-1. Just like the 4-1 gaines a little midrange but not as much as the 4-2-1. I think you will be very happy with the 4-2-1.

CleanGSR
Anyone who builds an all motor Honda for stupid highway runs is a tool. What the hell are you talking about? We're talking about the difference with headers, not building an all motor race car. Probably everyone on this forum has run their car hard on the highway before. It's called a hobby and personal preference. Plus, if you mainly drive on the highway most of the time, it only makes sense to by parts that help the type of driving you do most.
