Bakuryu06
My, front speakers, both left and right, blew on my 94 Civic LX and iam gonna replace them but i dont know what size they are. I tried searching on the net and came up with 6.5" but that was just for all honda's created in 94, i dont know if thats for the civic. Is that the correct size? Iam not looking to buy any expensive fancy speakers, just need some decent ones cuz i'll be selling this in a few weeks. So what is the real size? I took the old ones out, but all they told me was 30W and the year of the make, not the size. :(
SexyH22
sounds right to me, but just go to a car audio shop and ask them, they will be able to tell you for sure, as well as point you in some right directions.
BigBirdSucks
6.5" is correct. I'm not sure how the door speaker setup is with a civic, but on a del Sol, the speaker screws into a basket as well as the door panel. if you get a speaker with bigger magnets, you'll have to cut the basket. Bakuryu06
yea theres a plastic basket in which the Speakers r screwedto, the Gasket is screwed to the door, pretty simple setup. I'll just go to a junk yard and get some stock same year speakers. NO biggie.
